A Revolution in Tree Planting
The Bkean Foundation is launching an ambitious project to plant tens of millions of economic trees across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Sahel region within the next decade. Our innovative approach includes providing financial support and improved non-GMO organically grown tree breeds tailored to each region's geography.
In the arid Savanna areas of the Sahel, we'll focus on planting trees like Neem and Olive trees, along with economic crops such as cotton, ancient red millet, sorghum, and medicinal trees like baobab, frankincense, and myrrh.
Our goal is to empower economically the host communities and mitigate climate change by meeting the specific needs of each region. We'll achieve this through training manpower and establishing partnerships with local communities, organizations, and academic institutions. These collaborative efforts will promote sustainable management and proper harvesting methods, ensuring the health and longevity of the trees.
We've identified enormous water resources in these regions through geological reports, which we'll access using green energy sources.
To ensure the success of this endeavor, BKEAN plans to repurchase the produce from these trees through mutually beneficial partnerships with our stakeholders. The harvested materials will be processed at our value-addition center strategically located within each region, generating hundreds of thousands of jobs and cultivating valuable skills among participants.
In tropical regions, our selected economic trees include coconut, guava, African mangoes, soursop, Garcinia kola, kola nut, papaya, red palm fruit oil, bananas, plantains, pineapple, and more. These self-regenerative and self-multiplying trees will not only foster economic growth but also contribute to environmental sustainability and community development.

BKEAN Foundation's Franchise Opportunities and Eco-Friendly Alternatives for a Greener Future
In current industry statistics, the United States Environmental Protection Agency estimates that a staggering 4 billion trees are felled annually for paper and paperboarding products, contributing significantly to deforestation and environmental degradation. Notably, Amazon alone ships over 3 million packages daily, predominantly utilizing pulp from these felled trees.
This unsustainable practice poses a severe threat to our planet's well-being, necessitating a paradigm shift.
To address this urgent issue, it is crucial to transition from traditional tree farming to a more sustainable, regenerative solution. Our proposal advocates for the use of banana and plantain trees, emphasizing their rapid growth and natural multiplication.
Unlike traditional trees that take years, even decades, to mature, these fruit-bearing trees can be cultivated, harvested, and regrown within a span of 9 months to a year. Each mature banana or plantain tree yields a minimum of 12 offspring, creating an exponential and perpetual cycle of growth.
This innovative approach offers a pragmatic and environmentally friendly alternative to the current reliance on felled trees. By supporting indigent youth in the Sub-Saharan continent of Africa, we aim to swiftly replace the production of paper and paperboarding products with sustainable options derived from banana and plantain trees.
The benefits of this regenerative model extend beyond addressing deforestation. The fallen trees can be repurposed for various products, from diapers and toilet rolls to shipping boxes and party paper items.
Furthermore, the plantain tree, known for its health benefits, provides a unique opportunity to create gluten-free and environmentally friendly flour.
The urgency of this initiative cannot be overstated. The current global industry, valued at trillions of dollars annually, relies heavily on wood pulp, contributing significantly to climate change. The production of paper and paper products from wood pulp not only depletes our ozone layer but also introduces non-decomposable plastics into our ecosystems.
The Bkean Foundation recognizes the severity of these issues and is committed to reducing and ultimately eliminating the negative impacts associated with traditional paper production.
Through innovative franchise models, Bkean aims to establish value addition production centers across Africa, focusing on manufacturing sustainable paper products using the regenerative power of banana and plantain trees, as well as palm tree fronds from pruning and maintenance activities.
To kickstart this transformative journey, Bkean seeks funding exceeding fifty million dollars. This funding will be utilized to educate and empower the first 50,000 youth in this industry, paving the way for a sustainable and eco-friendly future.
Your support is crucial in steering the global industry towards responsible and regenerative practices that benefit both the environment and future generations.

According to available data, US healthcare spending grew by 4.1 percent in 2022, reaching $4.5 trillion or $13,493 per person. It is estimated that healthcare spending will reach 20.1% of GDP in 2025. Despite such staggering amounts spent on healthcare, Americans do not seem to be better at it.
Consider this health report on obesity: Researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health predict that if the steady increase in overweight and obesity among Americans continues through 2030, 86.3 percent of adults will be overweight or obese. The use of obesity here as an example to highlight the current health state of affairs is deliberate, as it properly captures the essence of this discussion: Americans are not eating healthily.
What are the experts saying? "Incorporating targeted food and nutrition strategies into healthcare on a national level will improve health and quality of life, reduce hospital workload, and cut healthcare costs," according to experts studying Food is Medicine (FIM) efforts. The health and economic benefits of this approach are detailed in a report from researchers at the Food is Medicine Institute at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, supported by The Rockefeller Foundation.
The Food is Medicine Case Study quantifies the potential health and economic benefits of FIM efforts, referring to food-based nutrition interventions integrated into the healthcare system to treat or prevent chronic diet-related diseases. This approach has shown promise in recent years for not only boosting nutrition and improving health outcomes but also for reducing food insecurity and increasing health equity.
According to research data presented in the report, national implementation of Medically Tailored Meals (MTMs) in Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance for patients with both a diet-related condition and limited ability to perform activities of daily living could avert approximately 1.6 million hospitalizations and result in an estimated net savings of $13.6 billion in healthcare costs in the first year alone, after accounting for implementation costs.
Consequent to these reports, Bkean has created an incubator program that will establish and support bakeries/restaurants that do not make use of wheat but alternative products using Bkean Indigent Youth Organically Grown and Milled Gluten and Gliadin-Free, Single Ingredient, Resistant Starch Flours. These products include healthy pasta, spaghetti, bread, frozen foods (including frozen waffles, pancakes, and pie/pizza dough), cookies, crackers, and more.
Additionally, the program will propagate awareness among the populace to consume these products made from Resistant Starch Flours for improved and sustained good health and weight loss, in conjunction with daily exercise and intermittent fasting.
The use of healthy ingredients like grass-fed A2 cow butter, cheese, and milk, pasture-raised chicken and eggs, and healthy oils such as virgin olive oil and virgin coconut oil is emphasized. Sugars must be extracts from cane, coconut, or dates, or sugar substitutes like monk fruit, allulose, or erythritol.
Beyond the health benefits that will save billions of dollars, Bkean will utilize the bakery to run an Incubator program. The target audience is economically disadvantaged youths, single mothers, or young women living prison life in America.
Through our franchise business model, Bkean shall train them on how to utilize these aforementioned organic food items to bake or prepare healthy food for Americans.
This will result in a win-win enterprise, improving the health of Americans while cutting the cost of investment into health matters each year, and giving disadvantaged Americans an opportunity to own a business with its attendant benefits.

However, the West African Bees face a greater danger as honey collectors are killing honey workers bees en-masse in the process of collecting the honey from the hives leading to the death of queen bees.
According to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, "Up to 90% of the world's flowering plants originate from the pollination activities of bees and other pollinating insects."
Bkean wants to immediately start training these collectors on how to nurture the beehives, workers bees, and queen bees, provide them with thousands of bee-keeping suits, and teach them how to build or make the proper bee boxes in the apiary.
